how to run mfile using gui

i want to build a gui in matlab.a simple one. 1st i want the user to select or load the picture's name and then they can click button done.in done function i would like to call the .m file.how can i solve this problem?and every time the picture's name change, how to update the picture's name in mfile?anyone can help me?please..

i use open(mfile name) but it just open it not run that file
