usrp_v3_0_R2012a installation problem

I am trying to install usrp_v3_0_R2012a and getting an error message. I was able to install it on the window xp operating system without a problem but unable to do the same in window 7 system. both have the needed tool boxes. this is the error I get. Undefined function or variable "s".
Error in C:\Users\************\usrp_v3_0_R2012a\install_utils.p>installpatch (line 271)
Error in C:\Users\************\usrp_v3_0_R2012a\install_utils.p>install_utils (line 77)
Error in install (line 24) install_utils(dataFile, 'install');

A new version of the USRP support package, version 3.0.1, has been released. Please try downloading this new version and let us know if this new package solves your problem. You can download the package from:
