How does trainFaste​rRCNNObjec​tDetector split the data into training, cross-validation and test data?

I am using trainFasterRCNNObjectDetector and was wondering how the trainingData is split, as I assume that there is at least some cross validation used for the training.
Thanks to anyone looking at this question, and every answer would be much appreciated.
