Extract Error Matlab Installation on Mac

I am attempting to install Matlab 2017b on my Mac and I am constantly receiving an extract error during the installation. I have followed all the advice on previous posts, deleting all the Matlab files created, deactivating my anti-virus software, and redownload the installer multiple multiple times yet to no avail. I am frustrated and have no idea how to go from here. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
