Looking for a workflow to create a .fmu model from my current Simulink model

I currently have a simulink model using the following packages:
  • Simscape
  • Stateflow
Is there a known or recommended route to generating a .fmu extension model from a simulink model?

To export a Simulink model as a Standalone FMU following the FMI standard, you can utilize one of the following methods:
1) Command Line Interface: exportToFMU2CS (since R2020a, to be deprecated) or exportToFMU (since R20203b, preferred command)
2) GUI: Save > Standalone FMU in Simulink
The process of exporting a Simulink model remains consistent, even if the model includes Simscape or Stateflow blocks. Below are some examples illustrating the export of models to FMU:
