Heatmap using subplot

Hi all. I am using guide. My matlab version is R2009b. I have an figure say f1, into which I perform few calculation. After that I am getting 8 different data set, This dataset number may be different , it may be 6 or 7 or 8 like that. I have an another figure say f2. I have an button on f1. I want to draw heatmap on f2 on different position using subplot command. After clicking on button in f1 the heatmap will be drown on f2. How I will do that. Plz help me. I tried a lot. But not getting it. Thank you for your valuable suggestion. Plz help me.

But we don't understand what you are saying. Are f1 and f2 different than the figure you created with GUIDE? Or were both of them created with GUIDE? Or did your GUIDE code call the figure() function? Or are f1 and f2 different axes on your GUIDE figure? So all I can suggest now are these two links:
