Under Windows 10 Pro and Matlab 2017b, Matlab symbolic tool 8.0 hangs up. Could anyone help me?

Dear Stephan, I have already tried, but it shows that all the product items are updated, including the Symbolic Math Tool, which however shows the version 8.0 lower than the 2108a which is 8.1. I will shift to 2018a. Thanks E. Canuto

This sounds like a case for a service request. I only could suggest to reinstall and try again. If this doesnt work you should let know TMW.
