I have a set of data which values of a certain parameter & the different time steps at which those values were obtained (Using a variable step solver). I wish to integrate this parameter over these time steps in Matlab

I used a variable step solver to run a simulation which led to different values of parameter x evaluated over different time steps. Now the task is to integrate these values of x over the variable time steps. Can this be achieved in Matlab. Is there any recommended code or in-built Matlab function which could be used to achieve this ?

trapz() passing in the time step information as the "x" data.
