For my research I need to developed a simulator that is triggered by events. Can someone please direct me for a tutorial or example for using events.

The question is far too vague to be answered. Please edit it and add more details. What do you call an "event"?

Hi, Thanks for the prompt reply. In my project I have a robot roaming about a room, whenever the robot hits a wall, or certain condition have been fulfilled, an event should trigger notifying that that has happened, and a new action should take place such as changing the direction of the movement.
