Hi,

I have created a GUI using GUIDE which starts/ stops a Simulink model using the

set_param

function. I would now like to allow the user to set the simulation stop time by entering their value into an edit text box and clicking a button to update the new stop time. I have tried a few attempts at this but have failed to make this work.

Additionally, i'd also like to pause/ continue a simulation and have managed to get these buttons to work by using

    set_param('vdp','SimulationCommand','pause')
    set_param('vdp','SimulationCommand','continue')

which does pause the simulation but when I hit 'continue', the simulation jumps forward as if it wasn't paused at all. It would be great to know what is causing this.

Craig - I have tried a few attempts at this but have failed to make this work. Can you show your attempts and describe why it isn't working? i.e. are you observing an error and, if so, what is it?
