Error 379. Invalid activation code

I'm trying to register matlab with the activation key I got from UMass Lowell and but its coming back invalid. I had it activated before two semesters ago for another class so that may be the reason but im not sure how to get a new code. Please Help.

you are probably trying to enter an activation where you should be entering a file installation key, or entering a file installation key where you should be entering an activation key.
