Transfer from Decimal to Percentage?

Hi guys,

I have a Matrix A =

[1 2 3

4 5 6

7 8 9]

How I can get Matrix B =

[100% 200% 300%

400% 500% 600%

700% 800% 900%]?

Sprintf might work but I don't know how to use it. Thanks in advance.

You cannot get it as a numeric matrix, as numeric matrices cannot contain '%' characters.

Then how can I transfer it to string or cell array? As long as there follows '%'.

I was wondering if there is a function to do this...

thisfmt = [ repmat(' %.3f%%', 1, size(A,2)) '\n'];
B = sprintf( thisfmt, A.' );
B(1) = '[';
B(end) = ']';

This creates the output as a single string.
