The Audio System Toolbox has functions like audioDeviceReader, audioDeviceWriter which allows you to playback and record sound.. You can also use the dsp.AudioFileWriter and dsp.AudioFileReader system objects for creating and playing back WAV files (also can do OGG, FLAC, AAC).

Thank you for the quick feedback but I don't think that answers my question. I am wondering if I can run audio through an electronics toolbox circuit simulation. For example, if I design a distortion pedal can I attached a WAV file as a voltage signal source? Then instead of reading the output with an simulated oscilloscope, can I play the output through my speakers? Thanks again!
