Matlab can't access to Internet. My version is Matlab 2018a, on Ubuntu system. I click Login button on th top right corner ,but there is no reponse.Help browser is always an blank page.

Matlab can't access to Internet. My version is Matlab 2018a, on Ubuntu system.

I clicked Login button on the top right corner ,but there is no response. I typed doc ,Help browser came out,but it's always an blank page. I clicked Add-on explorer ,and still no repose. What's wrong with matlab on linux?

Do you have internal firewall rules set up on your Linux system? doc() and Add-On Explorer are implemented by starting new processes and talking to those processes by TCP, which fails if the firewall does not permit communication on localhost, or if ulimit has been set to permit very very few open files.
