How to include library/source files when mexing a C++ function?

Hi, I am trying to mex the facial landmark detection C++ program from the Dlib library. When trying to do so, I run into a problem with the header files and other "include" statements. Since these are part of the original C++ code, what can I add to the C++ function before mexing that would tell the function to look at a particular library, rather than having to point to the header files by using their specific folder addresses?
