Cannot click on anything in Matlab. Only can write commands.

I just installed Matlab2018a. Unfortunately, besides writing commands in the command window, nothing else works! I cannot do anything else. None of the icons work. I cannot set a path, or use any of the icons in any toolbars. When I click on anything, nothing happens. Basically everything is unclickable! Any idea why this might happen? Is it due to some windows update or licence issues or not installing properly?
