Directory structure for @superclass and @subclass

I have a handle class that looks as follows:
Classdef className < handle & superclass1
% code
end
I have a @superclass1 folder with its methods and a @className with its methods (separate m-files). Does this work?
./folder_on_path/@className
./folder_on_path/@superclass1

Yes, I believe it would work as long as you specify Subclass and Superclass in their own '@Class' folders and their parent folder does not starts with '@'. The example you specified would work.
For more information about folders containing Class Definition refer to the following documentation: https://www.mathworks.com/help/matlab/matlab_oop/organizing-classes-in-folders.html
