Arduino MKR1000 + ThingSpeak Blocks

3 次查看(过去 30 天)
Dear all,
I am trying to use the library block of the ThingSpeak write/read in a very simple model to write data on a ThingSpeak channel. Every time, I add the block from the library, I receive the following error, please check the attached photo.
ThingSpeak Write block is not supported on Arduino MKR1000. Choose a different supported Arduino board.
Is that an error or a fact? I think the ThingSpeak blocks doesn't say anything about the supported devices.

What version of MATLAB support package and Simulink Support package for Arduino are you using? And What version of MATLAB are you using?
These will help us understand the issue better, as from this project (https://create.arduino.cc/projecthub/metrowest_aug/using-iot-to-remotely-control-a-robotic-arm-889cc7) I know that MKR1000 works with MATLAB 18a and related support packages.

Hi Madhu,
The problem got solved when I downloaded version 0.14.5 from the arduino library WiFi 101.
https://github.com/arduino-libraries/WiFi101/tree/0.14.5
This is not the latest version though, perhaps you should update your simulink library.

Hi Mfar,
We have only tested WiFi101 version 0.14.3 and I agree it is not the latest version. If you run into other issues, please revert back to this version.
It takes time for us to update Simulink libraries as the resources are limited and number of new libraries that come out are infinitely large.
I will definitely pass along your comments to the developers for their consideration.
Regards,
Madhu
