Converting video time to seconds

Hi, I have some time observations from video. They are in the format of time = [1.21, 1.5, 2.3, 2.5]. If i want to convert them to seconds, how should i proceed? I cannot multiply all values with 60 as the maximum value obtainable after decimal (in seconds is 60). Any help to solve this will be appreciated.
