Error message "Too many output arguments."

I get this error when using Matlab R2018b but not when I use Matlab R2016b and I'm not sure why. This is part of my code:
[r2 ,rmse] = rsquare(f_Br,f);
And this is the full error message:
Error using rsquare
Too many output arguments.
Error in TX_Process_SamW (line 451)
[r2 ,rmse] = rsquare(f_Br,f);

It's pretty clear that the function defined has only one output argument whereas you are calling it with two.

Sorry I'm pretty new to maylap, which part would I need to edit?
We don't know what rsquare() returns because you did not share the code. So the best we can say is
theOutput = rsquare(f_Br,f);
Note that we are now only trying to get one output from the function. You have to look at the function source code, or help, to figure out what theOutput really represents.
