Editor still showing text, but it has disappeared from m-file !!

This is a weird problem!
In the editor, if I put a breakpoint somewhere and then save the code, the breakpoint suddenly diappears. Morevoer, after doing that, if I close the file and re-open it, all the code is gone!!
Note that my working directory is a network drive. I suspect it has something to do with that since it doesn't happen when I do this on a local drive.

yes if my memory is correct .
I do not recall clearly whether there was a patch .
