SVN commit fails on CentOS

Hi all,
Me and my colleagues do use Matlab under CentOS (6.6. and 7.5), connected to an SVN Version 1.7.14 (r1542130).
With R2016b we see no problems, but R2017b and R2018b do not allow to commit changed code to the SVN.
Matlab gives feedback like
Failed to load URL https://localhost:31516/toolbox/matlab/sourcecontrol/CommitFilesDialog.html?disableSelection=false&snc=2TAKEB with error ERR_TUNNEL_CONNECTION_FAILED (-111).
Does anyone know that message or can tell, what did go wrong with the config or installation ?
Please ask if any more details are needed.
