3D cylinders design

Hello,
I am trying to design a 3D cylinder with a number of holes in it and also some irregular cylinders. I know that it is easier to import an them as an STL file, but will MATLAB be able to understand the geometry if I import? I actually have all the analytical data such as the mass, volume, loads, bc's, and stress induced in them. I just want to create something like a database in matlab. Please suggest if it is possible to draw cylinders as mentioned above in form of vector or matrix points?
