Hi,

I found an agorithm written in Matlab 2014 that use the Computer Vision toolbox funcion vision.EdgeDetector(), I have matlab 2018 with the Computer Vision Toolbox and this function is no more available.

Does anyone know why it has been removed and which were the differentces of this function with the one contained in the Image Processing Toolbox (edge())?

Since R2016a, vision.EdgeDetector has been replaced by edge. Please see the release notes for details:
