axesm from mapping toolbox in App Designer

Hi everyone,

This is my first post here.

I'm working with app designer and I want to use raster and shape files displayed on a map.

Seems like there is no support for using axesm on UIAxes ?

I tried a work around by first creating a map axes with axesm and then setting a panel as Parent. It worked and I could use geoshow to add the map to the axes. However, it seems I can't use plotm and other methods to plot lat,lon coordinates.

I would prefer to use App Designer and I want to avoid using a figure since I want buttons to load maps, and other features.

I have the same issue. I am going to use google api and plot it as an image

I solved it, but not as I as wanted...

It didn't work using the panel as parent of the axesm, so I let a button click create a regular figure (in a new window), and then setting the figure as parent to the axesm.

Hopefully they will eventually add support for axesm in App Designer.
