Add faces to surfaces in pde model

Hi,
Below attahced my code for creating a 3D (more like 2.5D) plate.
The PDE modle looks like this

My question is, is there a way that I can add faces (with face ID) to the top or bottom of the plate? In solidworks, you can do a 'split line'. The faces will be used to assign thermalBC later on. Faces might look like this (highlighted in red).
Capture.PNG.
For example, for Fx, the coordinates for the 4 corners could be: (1.2, 3), (2.2, 3), (2.2, 4.5), (1.2, 4.5).
Ideally, those faces are not physical. But if it cannot be achieve, then please suggset a way to modify the model with a thin extrusion to make the faces physical.
Thank you,
Derek

Hello Derek,
May I kindly ask you to share the code you mentioned? I think you forgot to attach it. Thanks!
Best Regards,
Konstantin
