Animated Zoom in for Plots

So I have a plot that is displaying a variety of different lines and I want to zoom in on a particular section by the click of the mouse. Is there anyway I can go about doing this? I guess it would be an animated plot but zooming in rather than showing an evolution of something over a given time. Could I use the "gif" function and set particular limits?
