how to display value in edit box matlab gui taken from workspace?

while calculting my final output in gui i want to display one value that i get in workspace into edit box after clicking push button, How should i do??
i tried using https://in.mathworks.com/matlabcentral/answers/18341-display-a-value-in-edit-text-in-gui but i could not find way to display number that i got in workspace.
please give me solution.

Then what is your issue exactly? You should be able to use the method outlined on the linked page. What code did you try?
