Optimization problem with battery

Hi guys i am designing battery for EV. I am giving battery specs by number of cells in series and parallel and Voc and rint and Qnorm. My question is if i give Qnorm=35 will matlab take it as Ah or Asec because if matlab considers it as Asec my simulations get worst and system does not converge
