I am trying to simulate a model with variable step solver but I would like to have a data log using Simulation data Inspector which is based on fixed step with a defined step size. Is it possible to do so?

Hi Siddhanta,
If you want to simulate your model with a variable step solver and the model has a part that should work with a fixed-step solver, one possible way is to put that part of the model in a referenced model, set the referenced model to work with a fixed-step solver, log signals in this referenced model so to visualize the signals in the Simulation data inspector.
