Solver resets on every single time step

My Simulink/Simscape Model runs very slow in discrete simulation mode. I used the "Solver profiler" to analyze the behavior and realized that the solver actually resets on every time step. Interestingly, this reset happens in the internal mechanical model of the Asnchronous Machine - precisely in the pu -> N.m Simulink-PS converter:

I'm not sure if this matters, but I needed to enable "input filtering" for this block to provide the required derivates, as the simulation does not run otherwise. The solver I use is ode23t, which is automatically selected by Simulink. In my Model, the generator is driven by a rotational signal (green line in Simulink) provided by an ideal torque source. Here is how it is connected to the peripheral electronic elements:

Is there anything I can do to resolve the resets and thus (hopefully) improve performance?
