Read multiple datasets from HDF

I usually have to read multiple datasets from a single HDF file. Something like :
v1=hdfread(hdffile,dataset1);
v2=hdfread(hdffile,dataset2);
v3=hdfread(hdffile,dataset3);
...
Is there any way to read all the 3 datsetes with a single call ? Like:
[v1,v2,v3]=hdfread(hdffile,dataset1,dataset2,dataset3);

Currently hdfread doesn't support this workflow.
