Filling area in a plot

I have following data set.
x y
0.01 1.88
0.05 1.92
0.10 1.60
0.15 1.23
0.20 1.00
0.25 1.00
0.95 1.00
0.99 1.00
I want to create a plot like this:
I also want to add marker points as well to the graph. thank you.

Please help in understanding the logic of creating area.

Logic is simple......you need to define the polygons...provide the polygon vertices.
