How to divide the total video into different Region of Interest ?

Hi everyone,
I'm currently looking for a way to divide a video into different ROI to work with
For example, if I divide the video into 3 different vertical ROI and I only want to work with the middle one then how can I do that

Just read in a frame of the video and mask it or crop it out (with imcrop), then just work on the remaining pixels.
