How do i model differential equations in simulink that are not time dependent ?

3 次查看(过去 30 天)
I want to model a second order differential equation which is space dependent but the integrator box is "continous time integrator". Also, I haven't been able to find any article on modelling space dependent function.
This is the equation I wish to model.
Ui is velocity
Y is the y coordinate axis of direction of movement ( value goes from -1 to 1)
Rest all are constants.

Hi,
Yes, it is possible to solve this type of ODEs in SImulink. Here is the solution model attached.
Note that the simulation time has to be set start time at: -1 and end time at: 1
The simulation time can be adjusted according to your given problem statements with: [Ctrl]+[E] or [Model Configuration Parameters] -> [Simulation Time].
Your contant values can be specified in the MATLAB Workspace, or within the Gain blocks, or [File]->[Model properties] -> [Callbacks] ->[InitFcn].
Good luck.
