Hi All,

I want to use binary decision variable for charge and discharge of battery using Particle swarm optimization (PSO) but I didn't understand that How I can use it so please help to do it.

PSO is not one of the optimizers that allows discrete variables. So the way to use PSO is to use a different optimizer, perhaps GA. However, if you only have afew such variables, then just set those variables to every possible set of options, Then solve the optimization for the continuous variables, and take the best solution among all sets.
