Simulink Log data to same file as Input

Hello everyone,
I use the dataref input streaming as it is described here:
My problem is, that I want the output of the model (or signals in between) to be appended to the same file as the input dataref. If i select the input dataref file in the (Configuration Parameters > Data Import/Export > Log Dataset data to file) , the data is deleted/overwritten.
Does anybody know to come around from the issue?

I understand that, you are trying to Log the Output data to the same file, which was given as Input File, and getting the file overridden. As of now MATLAB is not having the feature of appending the logs to an existing file. As a solution to this, I suggest you log the output data in a separate file and append it to the input file with a small script.
