Hi, you might try this procedure:
1.Put all excel (.xls .xlsx) fiels into one folder
2. Use dir with filter to list all *.xls *.xlsx => FILEs list
3. Use importool to import a sample => save this opearation into a function file
4. Use a loop which apply above function to each file FILEs list
