Manipulating data extracted from WRDS

Hello,

I am trying to manipulate data i extracted from WRDS! I have the monthly stock returns for 80 stocks and they are sorted by stock rather than date (the monthly returns for stock 1 for all the dates then the monthly stock returns for stock 2 etc.). how can i manipulate the csv file so that i have the returns for every month together?

I am providing link to the documentation of sort function in MATLAB below in which steps are shown how you can sort data by a specific rows, columns and date-time also. You can use the combination of sorting by date-time and sorting by columns to get your solution.
