App designer - Execute code on tab switch

Hey there,
im currently working on an application which has several tabs in its tabgroup. in every tab there are functions to display images.
I looked for a way to close all currently open figures except the main gui and found this code sample by Image Analyst:
set(handleToYourMainGUI, 'HandleVisibility', 'off');
close all;
set(handleToYourMainGUI, 'HandleVisibility', 'on');
Is there a way to execute this code whenever i switch from one of my tabs in the tabgroup to another ?
