Code profiling and report generation

The code generated from Embedded coder needs to be profiled to measure execution time.I am relatively new to Embedded Coder and RTW. So, I tried to follow the manual and the code got generated successfully. Despite the 'Measure task execution' option checked on the SIL and PIL Verification tab, no profiling is done with no report generated.
When I enter executionProfile.report, it reads- Undefined variable "executionProfile" or function "executionProfile.report".Is there something that I seem to have missed out? Please let me know.
