Using ENDAT Encoder with Launchpad

Hello all,

I am trying to implement the ENDAT Encoder from Heidenhain along with Launchpad F28379D and TIDM-1008. As I want to program the Launchpad with Simulink, Is there any possiblilty to configure the Launchpad with Simulink? As I see in one documentation, the confguration for ENDAT is done with ccsv5. In that case I need to flash the launchpad 2 times. This is just my guess. As I am new to the launchpad, any suggestion would be great help.
