Simulink 2019a To Workspace/Array gives a structure not an array

I created a simple model with a step source and a To Workspace sink. I changed the Save Format to Array and ran the model. The data in the workspace appears as a structure, not an array. Is this a bug? I don't recall it worked this way in 2018b. How can I change the settings so the data is saved as an Array?

Data in workspace appears as structure because single simulation ouput option is checked which return all simulation outputs as a single Simulink.SimulationOutput object
unchecking this option will give you the data in array format
To uncheck this option go to:
Modelconfiguration parameters -->Data import/export and uncheck single simulation ouput
