audioread data all 0

I am trying to read in some .mp3 and .wav files using audioread

[y,fs]=audioread('Free.mp3');
sound(y,fs);

The file is able to play with sound, but all the data in 'y' is 0. I get the sampling frequency fs.

The handel.mat file I turned into a .wav and that works fine, I get the data in y. Why will my other audio files not load in, but is able to play?

Could you please provide .mp3 or .wav you want to read.
