how can i interface simulink code with external plc using opc toolbox.Do i need to create GUI

dear

it is only posssible with opc server.

u have to create tags of your plc on opc server like kepware opc server then u have to use opc explorer part of matlab.

u have to synchronize both of them which is a easy process.

then by usiing some opc commands

u also have install opc ua components on your system

it may help .

ii made successful communcatiion of plc tags to matlab simulink

plc was allen bradley mcrilogix 1400
