If I want to work on computer vision, and control motors using MatLab, which packages should I buy ?

I'm about to finish my major in mechatronics, so my college licence is about to expire. I want to start a new project after graduation that involves computer vision, object identification, neuronal network to recognize objects, etc. in order to control a robot, motors and actuators. What packages, toolbox or products should I buy in order to start my new project? Yes, it's a commercial use.

To control motors you could use Arduino, or Raspberry Pi, or you could use Data Acquisition Toolbox (to drive D/A convertor) or possibly Instrument Control Toolbox (I have encountered a few semi-intelligent motor systems that use Instrument Control). In some cases you might even want Vehicle Network Toolbox: as the number motors increases, so does the chance that you need an in-robot data bus.
Robotics System would likely be of use in working on the dynamics.
I do not know whether Systems Identification Toolbox would be of any use to you. I would tend to expect that Control System Toolbox would be of more use.
Note: I have not done mechatronics myself.
