How may I change the color of the grid using "plot"?

I am working on homework and I am to show how to change the color of the gridlines without using Plot Tools. Command line only.

Thank you! I appreciate you keeping me honest. I googled several different variations and tried in online help within MATLAB, but bounced around what I was looking for.
