alexnet model not installed correctly

Hello,
I installed alexnet used Add-ons but I get the following error:
>> alexnet
Error using load
Unable to read data stream because the data contains a bad version or endian-key
Error in alexnet (line 58)
data = load(matfile);
Do you have any idea how to fix this problem please?

Hi,
That particular error message can either mean the file is corrupted, or it can mean that the system failed to allocate memory while loading the data.
The first case is highly unlikely as the MAT file that is trying to load is inbuilt and is working fine when executed on my system.
Memory allocation errors are due to your Operating System not having the resources to allocate any more memory. Or, you might consider increasing your physical RAM memory.

alexnet is from R2017a, at which point all MATLAB are 64 bit.

It is really weird because I tried it on different platforms and it is working fine. For time being a possible work around would be to use MATLAB online and save the alexnet object and load it in your workspace. Update if that works.
