This sounds like a homework assignment. If it is, show us the code you've written to try to solve the problem and ask a specific question about where you're having difficulty and we may be able to provide some guidance.
If you aren't sure where to start because you're not familiar with how to write MATLAB code, I suggest you start with the MATLAB Onramp tutorial (https://www.mathworks.com/support/learn-with-matlab-tutorials.html) to quickly learn the essentials of MATLAB.
If you aren't sure where to start because you're not familiar with the mathematics you'll need to solve the problem, I recommend asking your professor and/or teaching assistant for help.

Please find the Code below:
function rowprod_sum = rowProductSum(a)
[row, col] = size(a);
sum = 0;
for i = 1:row
pro = 1;
for j = 1:col
pro = pro*a(i, j);
end
sum = sum + pro;
end
disp(sum);
end
this function provides you the final sum and display it in command pallet. function takes matrix as input.

This time I edited your answer for you. Next time, please use the tools explained on this page to make your post more readable.
Also, why are you posting answers to such old thread? And why are you using sum as a variable name? You should also be aware that this code does not define the output argument.
