m file name appears in command window

Hello,everyone I have some problem with Matlab 2012a on Win 7 Home basic 64 bit. After installed, can`t see Matlab icon on desktop and All programs.So I copy icon from C:\Program Files\MATLAB\R2012a\bin .It`s works. Still reamiain problems , .m files show like unknown fiile type in outside of matlab. And when I run my .m files,m file name show in command window.for example, I run Example.m file, in command window show: >> Example .Thanks. Can anyone help me?

right click on any m file, then change , open with matlab.exe
